Behind 'PhOEbeTRY' hides Esther Febe Pöttger, a creative writer, born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. "Since I only just found the courage to share my work, I came up with this pen name: the perfect combination of 'Phoebe' (derived from my middle name) and... you guessed it: poetry." She was taught to always have her heart and eyes wide open to the world. And, having four older siblings, being articulate was not a luxury. So, at the kitchen table she learnt to put her thoughts into words. She finds writing poems helps her process things, brings her peace.
