Dr. Aammton Alias has been a family physician for more than two decades. He is currently practising in a private community clinic.

He is the Vice-President of RELA (REading and Literacy Association). One of the many goals of this organisation is to strive for every child to own and cherish at least one book.

He is a keen conservationist and environmentalist who is deeply concerned with the state of the world the next generation will inherit.
