Dr. Anoop Kumar Shukla is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amity University, Noida, India. He completed his M.Tech. with distinction from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur, and earned his Ph.D. from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2017. His research interests include energy conversion, thermal management, combined power cycles, cogeneration, multigeneration, biofuels, fuel cells, and gas turbine cooling. Dr. Shukla has published four edited books and more than hundred papers in prestigious SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings. He has supervised two Ph.D. scholars and 15 postgraduate dissertations. Currently, he is guiding two Ph.D. and two M.Tech. students. He has also contributed book chapters to well-regarded publishers, including CRC Press, Springer, and Materials Research Forum. Dr. Shukla has actively participated in organizing and attending several international conferences and symposiums. Dr. Ahmad Arabkoohsar received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow, assistant professor, and associate professor at some of the top European universities, namely Aarhus University, Eindhoven University of Technology, and Aalborg University. Dr. Arabkoohsar is currently a senior researcher (associate professor) at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering of Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His main field of research includes thermodynamic modeling and optimization of thermal energy systems and energy storage systems, in which he has published numerous articles in top-ranked international journals, the monograph Mechanical Energy Storage Technologies, and several book chapters with leading scientific publishers. Dr. Dinesh Singh Thakur is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT
), Pune. With over 26 years of teaching experience, he holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) from Govt. Polytechnic College, Nanded, a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from BAM University, Aurangabad, an M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. Dr. Thakur s research interests span CAD/CAM, additive manufacturing, fabrication of composite materials, high-speed machining, micromanufacturing, and surface engineering. His expertise includes green machining of aerospace materials, robotic welding, and precision machining of "difficult-to-cut" materials. Dr. Thakur has published over 225 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings and has been recognized for his contributions with numerous awards, including the "Teacher of the Year" award at DIAT. He has also been an invited chair at international conferences and is a reviewer for several prestigious international journals.
