Sharon Woodward is the founder of Woodward Consulting. She has owned and operated a large child care facility, worked as a family child care licensing specialist for twenty years, and has provided consultation, advocacy, and training to early child care providers throughout the United States. Most recently Sharon has provided a series of workshops focused on the sustainability of family child care. She is the author of The Redleaf Family Child Care Curriculum: Teaching Through Quality Care and Protecting Your Family Child Care Business and coauthor of Family Child Care Guide to Visits, Inspections and Interviews and The Home Visitor's Manual: Tools and Strategies for Effective Interactions with Family Child Care Providers, all from Redleaf Press. Bisa Batten Lewis, Ed.D. is a best-selling author, global education authority, and renowned public speaker. Her publications include journal articles, college textbooks, children's books and music, nationally recognized early childhood curriculum, and motivational books. During her three-decade career, Dr. Bisa has supervised multiple early learning programs and provided training and in-home coaching for family child care educators seeking to earn industry credentials.
