Reflections from Shepherd's Gate Farm: Four Seasons of Interactive Devotions and Coloring Art is third in Deborah's series of devotionals, each one taking the reader deeper into study and application of God's Word. With content to take you through all four seasons of the year, Deborah introduces the reader to the menagerie of beloved animals she shepherds on her farm, painting a serene and poignant picture to draw us deeper into well-connected biblical passages and challenging life application. Reflections is a unique, larger format devotion that includes original artwork designed to help the reader make a creative connection to the stories and biblical application, and provides a spacious landscape and other prompts, examples, and encouragement for the reader to interact with the text as they progress. Intended to be read alongside your Bible with art supplies and colored pens and pencils in hand, Reflections is created to be an engaging, joyful, and thought-provoking pathway to a deeper relationship with God. Choose the paperback for an inexpensive pallet to draw and doodle, write and grow, or select the hardcover gift edition to create a beautiful keepsake as you grow through the year. "Reflections" follows four seasons, each with twelve devotions, five large coloring art pages, and multiple extras including dot pages, smaller page decorations to color, line and white space journal pages. Each devotion includes a beautiful short illustration story, scripture, questions and prompts to help you reflect and consider the message more deeply, and space for free thinking. Deborah Hall Subetto is an accomplished author and passionate Christian communicator who holds a master's degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. With nearly thirty years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Deborah dedicated her career to helping others effectively communicate. After many years teaching the Bible to children through her local church, an amazing series of events led her to become the mistress of Shepherd's Gate Farm, where she cares for more than thirty animals - goats, ducks, chickens, one rabbit, a mouse, dogs, two barn cats and one inside cat (who is not allowed to eat the mouse). Inspired by the lessons God had taught her through her animal family, Deborah responded to God's calling and embarked on a new path utilizing her writing and artistic skills, along with her amazing farm experiences, to share God's Word with children and adults alike through creative story-telling and art. Deborah Hall Subetto has previously published three adult devotional books, and the first set of the "Your Child and You" Series: "Rooted in the King's Garden." Deborah's inspiration for this series came from her first grandchild, whose limitless potential prompted her to introduce the importance of a meaningful relationship with Jesus in creative and accessible ways. Her desire is for children and grandchildren to embrace the incredible treasure of knowing and trusting our heavenly Father, who sustains us through all seasons of life. For Deborah, leaving a lasting legacy means equipping our loved ones with the life-transforming power of a heart overflowing with God's extravagant love. With each turn of the page, she invites readers to experience joy as they embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the depths of God's amazing character and His perfect plan.
