The acute burns represent a major public health issue, with a profound impact on patients' quality of life. The regenerative therapies are emerging as a promising alternative for improving their management. This systematic review analyzes four randomized clinical trials of PRPand freeze-dried PRPand sequential skin grafts and autologous fat grafting. Results for liquid PRP remain variable, underlining the importance of standardizing protocols. Freeze-dried PRP has demonstrated significant efficacy in accelerating healing and reducing infections, thanks to its stability and clinical convenience. Sequential skin grafts, promising for severe burns, are showing increased potential, particularly in combination with PRP and plasma cryoprecipitate. Autologous fat grafting reduces the risk of contractures and improves scar quality. Despite these advances, further research is essential to refine protocols and optimize clinical outcomes.
