The attitude of different genders in African set ups tend to influence the taking of various duties. The journey towards attaining the vision 2030 as envisaged in the Kenyan government strategy demands for total commitment of all populations in the country both male and female. The development of attitudes are subject to whether one is accepted in the community to undertake certain duties without fear of any intimidation from any quarters. In my research I have looked at how the attitudes are influenced by the gender of the student in learning science. When learners have a positive attitude towards a subject it means that such individuals will pursue a science related course and career and at the end aid in accelerating the move towards attaining the vision 2030 and subsequently development of the community. When many people are endowed with scientific knowledge it means problems are easily solved among the members of the community.
