Bachelor Thesis from the year 2023 in the subject Social Studies (General), , course: Psychology, language: English, abstract: This study examined the relationship between relationship satisfaction and online intimacy of adults involved in cyberdating to better understand the relationship between the variables. A descriptive correlational research design was utilized. To measure the variables, the researcher used the Relationship Satisfaction Test and Personal Assessment of Intimacy in Relationships Inventory. The study involved 100 couples, and data collection was conducted through various social media platforms. The study used frequency and percentage distribution, Pearson's r correlation coefficient, and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) to determine the profile, the relationship, and the difference between variables. The study found that when cyberdating couples are not satisfied with their relationship. However, cyberdating couples have a high level of online intimacy in their relationship. This study also explored various subscales to investigate the relationship and any differences that exist. When respondents were categorized by their sex, nationality, occupational status, and socio-economic status, when it comes to the significant difference between relationship satisfaction and online intimacy, there is a significant relationship. This study contributes to the understanding of cyberdating couples' diversity, unique relationships, and the intimacy they have with their partner.
