Writing is a way for me to worship God, walk with Jesus, and face the real. Something deep inside of me is awakened when His Spirit sits with me to soul search and write! Each of you (readers) are a gift to me as I feel that you are walking beside me on a journey to embrace the heart, healing, transformation, peace, joy, forgiveness, and life to the fullest found in Jesus! Thank you so much for reading, for each reader is a gift to the writer! After writing this book's prequel, Entrusting Anxieties, I did not realize God would take me to a deeper level of peace. Although I am not anxious anymore, I do wrestle with restlessness in many areas. Writing this book led to me ask self reflective questions, release restlessness to God, and embrace the three minutes of quiet with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. In this place of quiet with the Trinity, my restlessness is replaced by a deep inner calm. In daily life, my favorite moments are with my husband and five children (ages 14-23). We love having fun together, sporting together, laughing together, finding adventures, praying together, and sharing the real. I love any opportunity to talk about Jesus together. When I am not hanging out with my family, I enjoy counseling, mentoring, and teaching students, coaching parents, and facilitating parenting workshops. Continually, I am reminded that to live the best version of myself I must invite Jesus in! For He constantly cares for us with unconditional, all-consuming, tender grace and love!
