The main aim of this research is to identify the Itabaiana-Se Truck Driver Festival as a local religious tourism attraction, as well as to verify the motivation of tourists/visitors to the festival and to understand its evolution over the years. With a closer look at the festival, we intend to analyze the devotion of the people present during the festival and show the symbols that represent the Itabaiana Truck Driver Festival. The method used to develop this work was a bibliographical survey, the main themes of which were Tourism, Religious Tourism, Cultural Tourism, Event Tourism, Culture, Religion, Heritage, Festival and Event. The reason why the Itabaiana Truck Driver Festival is a tourist attraction for local religious tourism is the devotion to the patron saint, St. Anthony, which brings thousands of people to the city to ask for, thank and pay homage to him, as well as the devotion of Itabaian truck drivers to their patron saint, St. Anthony, as their protector and guide onthe roads.
