Bob Byrne commenced his career in radio over 40 years ago as a music DJ, later turning to talk and current affairs. As a writer he has covered topics as varied as music, food and travel. He runs the popular Facebook websites ' Melbourne Remember When', ' Australia Remember When' and ' Adelaide Remember When' . Remember When ... Snapshots of Australia from the ' 50s to ' 90s is his seventh book.
