Sie hat einen Abschluss in Leibeserziehung und einen Master in brasilianischer Pädagogik vom Zentrum für Bildung, beides an der Bundesuniversität von Alagoas. Derzeit ist sie Assistenzprofessorin III an der Estácio de Alagoas School of Physical Education in den Undergraduate- und Graduate-Programmen. Berichterstatterin des Ausschusses für Forschungsethik der Hochschule Estácio de Alagoas.
