O professor Mauricio Dimeo Coria cursou a graduação e o mestrado em filosofia na Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras da UNAM, com teses relacionadas à metafísica da ciência. Leciona no nível de graduação. Publicou vários livros e ensaios. Foi conferencista em várias universidades. É também um defensor dos direitos humanos.
