She holds a Ph.D in the field of Maternal and Child health care, with specialization in Neonatalogy, and Molecular Biology. UGC qualified in Forensic Science, with an expertise in Forensic Biotechnology. She has received an international scholarship (Harold Gunson fellowship, International Society of Blood Transfusion) and holds 9 years of Research experience, which includes reviewing articles, writing research articles as well as proposal for extramural funding.
