Laec Matthews once shared his body with a murderous demon. That's all in the past...or is it? Because now he's losing control, and that could be bad news for everyone around him. It all started with a typical Saturday night fight. As a bartender, he'd broken up dozens of them. But when he awakens the next morning in a puddle of blood and no memory of what happened, he's faced with a reality he's fought hard to escape. Now there are seven dead shifters in the alley, a cryptic warning from a mysterious specter, and a snatch and grab of the woman he loves, thrusting Laec into a battle to save everything he's worked so hard to build. Who's pulling the strings, and why are they so hell-bent on destroying his life? Reveal is the engrossing second book in The Sacrifice urban fantasy series. If you like adventure that features demons, dark realms, and danger at every turn, then you'll love Aesyn Cravery's second installment of this exciting series.
Autorenporträt
Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, angels, ghosts, faeries-I think I was born with a fascination for the lot of them. They just seemed more interesting than whatever was going on in real life. Growing up a military brat, my family traveled a lot, which meant I was always the new kid in school. Making friends was challenging as an introvert, so I spent a lot of time reading, daydreaming, and eventually writing about the otherworldy. The circumstances of my childhood made me something of a gypsy, an outsider, a fact which also influences my writing. I can't count how many times I've moved, living in dozens of different cities and towns, big and small, as well as several states and countries and visiting even more. I've considered the Tampa Bay area a home base since I was twelve, but I often venture away when the mood strikes me. I currently reside in central North Carolina; my attempt to escape the endless Florida summers and experience seasons once again, but I know it isn't permanent. Who knows where I may end up next? I have a soft spot for the bad boys and girls, so they steer the bulk of my stories. Laec has lived rent free in my head for years, so I feel privileged to have the ability to bring him to life in this series.
