A much abused simple story. A Bible Story ... in History. Why Rome & the Caesars are at best symbolic! The ancient religious roots and the parts of what some today call THE DEEP STATE! The prophetic background for things seen ALL THROUGH THE CHRISTIAN AGE! What Mystery Babylon the Great might look like if we saw her TODAY ... or if we ... WORKED FOR HER! How ancient rulers, conflicts and empires act as proto-types of END OF OUR AGE EVENTS! Here are the tools for a second look at the book of Revelation. Applying the insights of Prophecy Principles to the book of Revelation. A systematic overview of Revelation. A synthesis of the message of Revelation with the whole Bible. It presents Bible prophecy as overview of time and history. This study outlines the key parameters by which we should approach the book of Revelation, and view our present age. This is NOT a cover it all book, but it fills in many key pieces of information. "Revealing" talks about the religious roots of the Deep State, and shows us the parts of the Deep State, and how they relate to each other. Lastly, "Revealing" shows the objectives and the outcomes of the Deep State in human history, and how the gospel affects these things. The answers to many questions! * Why Revelation should not be taken as a stand-alone book. * How the Visions should be taken. * Why neither the Caesars nor Rome fit the beast of Revelation, nor Mystery Babylon the Great. * Why many pseudo messiahs fit parts of the story. * Why Mystery Babylon is NOT big government. * Why Revelation is pertinent to the entire Christian Age. In general this books gives the criteria for fulfillments, but not the identifications. The "what" to look for, but NOT the "who." At times it merely outlines the ambiguities that are presented, and assumes they are there for a reason.
Neal Fain was born in Georgia and converted to Christ in Dallas, Texas in 1962. He attended Harding University from 1965 to 1967, preaching as a student, graduating with a degree in Bible and Biblical Languages. He lived in Alaska for over 30 years, both preaching and teaching, and much of that time self-supporting. He retired from a major oil company in 1999, followed by preaching in North Carolina. He is now retired to Tennessee, preaching, teaching, researching and writing. From listening to popular views, he early took a rationalistic view of prophecy, and only slowly realized its importance to the entire Christian age, not as an "accidental" extra, but as something needed for both conduct and preparedness, "a lamp shining in a dark place." This volume is an outgrowth of his earlier book Prophecy Principles.
