Kris Neri writes the Tracy Eaton mysteries, REVENGE OF THE GYPSY QUEEN, DEM BONES' REVENGE, REVENGE FOR OLD TIMES' SAKE, and REVENGE ON ROUTE 66, and the Samantha Brennan and Annabelle Haggerty Magical Mystery series, HIGH CRIMES ON THE MAGICAL PLANE and MAGICAL ALIENATION. Her latest novel, HOPSCOTCH LIFE, an accept-yourself-in-all-your-glory novel, is her first women's fiction-crime crossover. HOPSCOTCH LIFE recently won the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award winner. Kris's novels have been nominated for such prestigious awards as the Agatha, Anthony, Macavity, the International Book Award, the Lefty Award, and the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award. She is a three-time finalist for the Lefty Award for humor, and a three-time finalist for the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award and a two-time winner. Kris teaches writing online for the prestigious Writers' Program of the UCLA Extension School, and other organizations, and has worked with countless writers as a writing coach and freelance editor. Also former bookseller, Kris and her husband, Joe, owned The Well Red Coyote bookstore in Sedona, Arizona for ten years. Today they make their home in Silver City, NM.
