Marcus Hunter is perfectly content living the small town life, except for the fact that he's never been able to find the right woman to do it with. All he wants is someone who "gets" him. Produktbeschreibung
Marcus Hunter is perfectly content living the small town life, except for the fact that he's never been able to find the right woman to do it with. All he wants is someone who "gets" him. Who appreciates his sense of humor. Someone who can join in and keep up. Is that too much to ask? Does such a woman even exist? Enter Corinne Edwards. She may be a college educated professional, but she's also a bit of a gypsy. With a mobile business she built from the ground up, she's free to go where she wants-and does. Moving from city to city, she spends her free time seeing the sights and not bothering to build relationships of any kind because she doesn't intend to stay. Imagine her surprise when she feels led to make a stop in a small town instead-and likes it! There she meets friends she didn't know she had, a community that embraces her, and a man who, to all appearances, checks all the boxes. He's intelligent, funny. And he gets her. Some long dormant hunger begins to awaken. Happily ever after, right? Perhaps, but with a past littered with failed attempts and a present constrained by invisible expectations, happily ever after might be easier said than done. Welcome to Sutton, the fictional small town in Ohio where the people are real and things like faith and love can blossom.
Autorenporträt
It's funny how quickly you become something. When I wrote "Right Where They Belong: Sutton Series Book 1", suddenly I was an author. In the past I've been a homeschool mom, the egg lady, a church pianist, the goat lady, a bookkeeper, and even on occasion, the cat lady. I am most especially enjoying being an author lady-writing stories of faith, hope, and love. Stories about relationship and navigating through whatever life throws your way. These days Christopher's painting, and I'm writing. (Bookkeeping too; still have to earn a living, you know.) While our two sons are off conquering the world, we're hanging out in rural Ohio with lots of animals-and plenty of small towns nearby.
