For over 29 years in the New York City public school system, she taught Balanced Literacy, business careers, entrepreneurship, computers, and social studies. She also developed entrepreneurship, literacy, social studies, and anti-bullying curricula, always focusing on practical learning, critical thinking, and emotional growth. Libby writes as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with her multigenerational family in mind. Her books encourage children ages 4 to 13 to explore responsibility, empathy, teamwork, and values-based decision-making through imaginative stories grounded in real-world themes.
