An antiques dealer, a spirited woman with a secret, and a haunted dresser neither of them saw coming... When independent and newly single Miranda Montgomery moves into an old house filled with forgotten treasures, her plan is simple: start over, repaint a few chairs, and rebuild her life. But when a passionate antiques dealer named Saxon Haig charges in to stop her from painting a rare Arts and Crafts chair, her quiet world gets upended-fast. Sparks fly, secrets surface, and an unexpected connection forms between them. But something darker lurks beneath the charming banter and vintage furniture. When Miranda's psychic sensitivity reveals that a mysterious dresser carries more than just dust and memories, the pair are pulled into a chilling mystery rooted in the home's shadowy past. Surrounded by quirky friends, vintage finds, and a growing sense of belonging, Miranda must face not only what's haunting her home-but what's haunting her heart?
Autorenporträt
I was an English and music teacher many years ago but started to write about twelve years ago. I wrote three books which are also on the above link about my Pointer dog and are cozy mysteries. I wrote some children's books also about dogs and then wrote a lot of cozy mysteries for Lirios publishing as a ghost writer. I then started ten years ago to write clean western romances for a man with a publishing company in Greece. I did fifty for him of 80000 words each and finally a few weeks ago decided that the stress of a deadline was just too much. I am old - 82-but my brain still works thank goodness. I love writing and I can do that sitting down. I have 12 elderly dogs at home, and I also make websites for doggy folk and some dog clubs. I live in the far north of Scotland in Caithness. -Sheila Muckle
