Dr. Yvette Williams better known as Yvette Diva Williams is a powerhouse of talent and inspiration. As an international singer, songwriter, author, trainer, educator, and voiceover artist, she is on a mission to help others rise above adversity and live boldly. Williams earned her Doctor of Education in 2017 and has been an English composition professor for over 22 years. Her music is raw, bold, empowering and is available on all streaming platforms. Her album Chosen was created to promote awareness surrounding depression. Her albums Rise. Slay. Rest. Repeat. and Grounded were written as part of her own journey of dealing with beauty standards and self-esteem. Her debut book was written as a means to confront loneliness, grief, loss, and deception. The goal of this new book is to move from darkness into light and to share that light with a fierceness. Neither book is designed to be a self-help manual per se, but if the contents are able to help readers feel safe, seen, heard, loved, and validated, then my work is deemed successful.
