'The Yellow House On The Corner', in traduces Dove's cosmopolitanism in the figure of the cultural mulatto. Dove's 'Museum' is an aesthetic extension of her cosmopolitanism.

Dr. R.Veena is currently working as Associate Professor in Dept.of English, Dharmapuram Adhinam Arts College, Mayiladuthurai. She completed B.A in 1993, M.A in 1995 and also secured University Second Rank, Gold Medal from Institution affiliated to Bharathidhasan University. She completed M.Phil (1998) Ph.D (2008) in Annamalai University.
