Dr. Veena Goel (Professorin für Wirtschaftswissenschaften) an der Landwirtschaftlichen Universität von Punjab, Ludhiana (Indien), machte 1977 ihren MA in Wirtschaftswissenschaften und 1982 ihren M.Phil an der Punjabi Universität, Patiala (Punjab), während sie 1987 an der Nordöstlichen Berguniversität, Shillong (Meghalya), promovierte. Sie verfügt über eine langjährige Lehr- und Forschungserfahrung von etwa 35 Jahren.
