Le Dr Aarti Thakkar possède un excellent parcours universitaire et a mené des recherches dans le domaine de la lutte biologique contre les agents pathogènes des plantes. Elle bénéficie également d'une longue expérience universitaire et s'intéresse à la recherche dans les domaines de la microbiologie agricole, des rhizobactéries favorisant la croissance des plantes et de la lutte biologique contre les phytopathogènes. Elle a publié de nombreux articles de recherche.
