Dr. M. Muthulakshmi promovierte in (Nematologie) an der Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Sie hat zehn nationale und internationale Forschungsarbeiten, drei Bücher, drei Buchkapitel und zehn populäre Artikel veröffentlicht. Sie wurde vom Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Technologie in Neu-Delhi als Wissenschaftlerin ausgezeichnet.
