Wholeness was never lost, only forgotten.Gregg Westwood came of age in the exuberant New York City of the 1980s, when love was intoxicating, fleeting, and often fatal. Childhood abuse had severed him from his own skin, leaving him with the ache of disconnection so many recognize - that feeling of being estranged from your own flesh. In the wake of profound loss, he began a decades-long journey to find the one thing he thought he'd never truly inhabit: his own body. What started as survival became a sacred quest for wholeness. His path led him first into movement as a dancer, then through massage therapy and into somatic psychology. But the real transformation came when his healing journey carried him beyond conventional approaches - to the ancient wisdom of Ecuadorian shamans, sacred plant medicines, and breathwork practices that revealed not only the medicine his body had always carried, but also the vibrant guidance of ancestors he had once cast aside. The journey culminates in the mystical landscapes of England, where a profound spiritual ascension reframes his entire story and anchors his understanding in a higher field of consciousness.Through Gregg's intimate odyssey, you'll discover what it truly means to inhabit your own flesh, not as a problem to be solved, but as a sacred vessel to be honored. His story illuminates the path from disconnection to embodied wholeness, revealing how personal healing becomes a multidimensional experience that encompasses a deep connection to body, the earth, ancestral wisdom, and the Source of all creation. For anyone who doesn't feel at home in their own body and seeks healing that honors both the seen and unseen worlds, Rooted Soul offers profound inspiration for finding their own path to embodied authenticity. You'll understand how trust, surrender, lightness, and joy can transform even the deepest wounds and how your individual journey toward wholeness contributes to the greater healing of humanity. This is an invitation to remember what was never truly lost, and to embody the multidimensional being you've always been.
