This is the true recollection of an adopted woman's life experience. She recounts her childhood growing up as an adoptee and the struggles and triumphs that followed when she reconnected with her biological family.
Lori Williams has been a writer all her life. Her first stories were dictated to her mother, who vigilantly recorded them in Lori's childhood diary. Later, at the age of ten, she was published in the book, A Celebration of Young Poets-Minnesota and Wisconsin. Whether she is creating poetry, fictional stories, or working on her memoirs, Lori has always enjoyed expressing herself through the art of writing. Lori is a devoted wife and mother. She is also a state-licensed elementary school teacher. She has a passion for dance and has been dancing since she was a small child. She has earned many dance credentials and certifications including her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, RhythmWorks!in Dance, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Barre Fitness, and PoundFit. She currently teaches dance classes for students with special needs through her local chapter of the national Darby's Dancers organization.
