Dalgis Edelson is an artist and author whose creative journey began in the New York City art world. Her work was exhibited at Agora Gallery, located at 530 West 25th Street in New York, and was selected for exhibition at Art Basel Miami as well as galleries throughout Europe.Despite her success, Dalgis was forced to step away from oil painting due to severe allergies that began to affect her health. This unexpected pause left her feeling disconnected from the art she loved-until two close friends, Yvonne and Gloria Reyes, encouraged her to explore illustration and storytelling for children's books.That encouragement opened a new chapter in her creative life. Through writing and illustration, Dalgis rediscovered her artistic voice and found a renewed breath of creativity. Her stories are infused with imagination, emotion, and a deep sense of wonder.She is now the author of her second book, a dark fantasy, and continues to write without slowing down-embracing storytelling as her new canvas.
