Amanda Humes (1979-) was born the last of seven children in a blended family. She graduated from Southern Community College in 2000 on the Dean's list with an AA. Amanda stayed home in Keokuk, Iowa, to help her parents. She has worked at Walmart as a cashier since 2008. In the year 2020, Amanda had a colon cancer. She is now a cancer survivor. She is currently working on her Rules for Dating a Demon series. She wrote Rules for Dating a Demon in 2015 as a part of a class project for American Public University. She graduated honor role class of 2016 with BA in English. With encouragement form her older sister on her mom's side, she is currently writing Rules For Dating a Demon 2: Losing Faith.
