Paul E. Mullen is an authority on lone mass killers and stalking. Highly sought-after as a psychiatric expert, he has assessed more murderers of this type than any other psychiatrist. He is Professor Emeritus at Monash University and was previously Visiting Professor and later Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, London, and Director of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Psychiatry in Australia. He has published over 200 journal articles and co-authored four books on forensic psychiatry, including a leading textbook on stalking that was awarded the American Psychiatric Association's Guttmacher Prize.
