Carol Merton, a second term municipal councillor, is a co founder of electHER Now, a non-partisan organization committed to advancing equitable and diverse representation at municipal tables. She is a co-producer and host of the Rogers TV program Health Link designed to connect home, community and health care. Carol has authored several children's books and recently published a book entitled So You Want to Run For Office A Campaign Toolkit. She is a health care professional providing services in the local community, a member of a Police Services Board, the Institute of Southern Georgian Bay, affordable housing working groups and an active participant in conference planning activities to promote healthy communities.
