Like thousands of children before and after her, young Paula Wart begged her parents for a horse of her own. She got a puppy instead, but that didn't deter her from writing rhymes about horses, dogs, and just about anything else. Her love of words turned into a lifelong career. Sometimes she even gets to write a rhyme. She has won various awards for her health and business writing, but she is more delighted by reading, writing, and telling stories about things she loves. Picture books are her favorite.
