Karen is a writer, software engineer, and former substitute teacher who has always been drawn to the creative side of things. One of her proudest achievements came when her play manuscript, A G.I. Christmas, was nominated for a TAG award in Omaha.Karen has nine grandchildren, including twins, triplets, and four singletons, who keep her young. In her free time, Karen cheers from the sidelines at sports activities and dance competitions, though she doesn't dance herself, she secretly loves pretending to be a judge.
