Now in paperback—a new and exciting pick-your-path STEM adventure for emerging readers! This series starter takes emerging readers on an expedition to the ocean’s twilight zone in search of a giant squid. But giant squids are hard to find. Readers will need to join the expedition and help make choices along the way. First they'll pick their submersible. And then their pilot and dive site. They'll need to be careful—not every path leads where it seems, but whatever path they pick, they’ll see and learn amazing things!

Autorenporträt
Amy Seto Forrester is a youth services librarian at Eugene Public Library who is passionate about diverse, engaging books for new readers. An active member of ALA and ALSC, she is co-founder and co-host of the Guessing Geisel blog and often writes for the review journal Kirkus. Frustrated by the lack of diversity in books for developing readers, she decided to write one herself. She then turned to her brother, artist Andy Musser, for the pictures. Andy Musser is an artist and a storyteller. He was born in Oregon but now lives in Seattle. When not in the studio, he can be found visiting the library, rock climbing, or volunteering with the Bureau of Fearless Ideas working to help kids develop their own picture books.
