Lynne Cairns is an Australian author, artist and historian. Her first historical novels were set in the first years of white settlement in Western Australia. But, with Gold Town we move forward to the exciting gold rush years of the 1890s. Lynne also writes poetry and short stories, and is author or co-author of maritime history books about shipwrecks and submarines.
