Paul Kupperberg is the writer of more than 1,000 comic book stories for DC Comics, Archie Comics, and others featuring Superman, Peacemaker, Vigilante, Supergirl, The Doom Patrol, Bart Simpson, Scooby Doo, and the Eisner and Harvey Award nominated Life With Archie series, as well as his own creations, Arion Lord of Atlantis, Checkmate, and Takion. He has also written the Superman and the Tom & Jerry syndicated newspaper strips, Mad Libs, color and activity books for DreamWorks and is the author of numerous fiction and nonfiction books for young readers, including the GLAAD nominated and Scribe Award winning novel, Kevin (based on the Archie Comics character). Paul has also written the novels JSA: Ragnarok and The Devil and Leo Persky and books of comic book history, Direct Comments: Comic Book Creators in Their Own Words, Direct Conversations: Talks with Fellow DC Comics Bronze Age Creators, Direct Creativity: The Creators Who Inspired the Creators, Panel by Panel: My Comic Book Life.
