BOB CRUMLEY is best described as a serial entrepreneur. A licensed attorney, real estate broker and private pilot, Bobs business interests are as varied as his personal ones. Graduated from Appalachian State University in 1977, Bob entered law school at Wake Forest University at the age of 20. Upon graduation in 1980, Bob became the youngest licensed lawyer in North Carolina. Since law school, Bob has worked in banking, government, textiles, human resource consulting, and law, and has numerous business start-ups, some of which were successful, some not. But in 1989 with $3,500 borrowed from a bank, he started what has become the largest consumer law firm in North Carolina. From a single office, the firm now has 16 offices with about 130 employees. He has also started a successful real estate development company and a music publishing and recording company in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. Involved in the community, he has served as a member of numerous local and regional boards. He has also served on a statewide leadership board, a statewide licensing board, and as co-chair of a statewide commission. He has spoken on business development and success principles across the U.S. and internationally to groups as diverse as lawyers, insurance agents, college students, and doctors. He is married to Teresa for more than 30 years, has two adult daughters, and one grandson. For fun, he likes to hunt, fish, fly his plane and write songs.
