As the crown of God's creation work, humans were made to work - and to rest. It seems we have figured out the working part of our design, but we struggle to understand the way we are called to rest. Our Creator rested, though God needs no sleep and does not grow weary. What does that mean for us, the created? Poetry speaks to the soul differently than narrative language, and this short collection of poems attempts to lean into the concept of rest in a way that connects our hearts and our bodies, leading us to embrace God's intent for our rest.
