WRITINGBreyanna I.L. Evans is the author of several published works. She has independently published YA fantasy and fiction, children's stories, poetry and short stories, with more books always in the works. Breyanna does all the writing, formatting, graphic design, marketing, and most of the editing for her books. She also creates her own maps and interior graphics, and she has recently started supporting other indie authors in their own publishing endeavors.In her writing, you can expect magic, twists and turns, themes of light and dark, adventure, and positive messages.INFLUENCESThroughout her life, Breyanna has always enjoyed reading a wide variety of text, and has drawn inspiration from authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Edgar Allan Poe, Tricia Levenseller, Brigid Kemmerer and more.HIGHER EDUCATION AND WORKAfter graduating with her bachelor's degree in creative writing, Breyanna taught middle school and high school English, and absolutely adored teaching all aspects of the English language. She now works as a reading intervention specialist through the University of Utah Reading Clinic hoping to help educators, parents, and struggling readers enhance their skills. She has also had the pleasure of working on a team to write, illustrate, develop, and publish an entire set of phonics readers.HOBBIES In her free time, Breyanna loves to travel! She enjoys watching movies (fantasy or scary ones, mostly), painting, drawing, writing, reading, playing Dark Souls, teaching her son how cool the world can be, and spending as much time as possible with her family.
