Charlie Hudson, a retired army officer, is an avid recreational scuba diver who has authored fourteen other novels and selected non-fiction/ Her 22-year Army career included Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti. She and her husband, also a retired army officer, ultimately relocated to South Florida where he teaches scuba and is a photo/journalist while Charlie focuses on her writing.
