SHADOW: REAP WHAT YOU SOW A dark Caribbean fantasy of spirits, vengeance, and a boy who becomes the gate between worlds. Born beneath a blood moon in 1652 Jamaica, Obasi Rook was never meant to live an ordinary life. Stolen from his mother by spirits and raised in the Shadow Realm, he is trained by ancient loa to walk between the living and the dead. Marked by power, haunted by prophecy, he returns to a world that has only ever feared him. Port Royal burns with cruelty, its streets soaked in blood and secrets. Now grown and reborn as Shadow, Obasi reaps vengeance on those who prey on the innocent, wielding a serpent staff and the voices of the dead. But every soul claimed carries a cost-and the path ahead demands more than power. It demands sacrifice. Three destinies await him: Vengeance. Redemption. Eternity. To walk them all is to become legend. To fail... is to be consumed. THIS IS THE START OF THE VEVÉVERSE!
I was once told that dyslexia and ADHD would keep me on the outside of stories rather than at the heart of them. Refusing to accept those limits. I, taught myself to write the only way they knew how word by word, sentence by sentence, through long nights of doubt and mornings of determination. My debut novel, Shadow: Reap What You Sow, carries the weight of that journey. Woven through its pages are the pain and anger of struggle, the enduring strength of family and heritage, and the fire of resilience in the face of a world that often says "no." For readers who have ever felt overlooked or told they weren't enough, I offers a story that insists otherwise a testament that every scar has meaning, and every voice deserves to be heard.
