Dr. Shehata hat in vielen Bereichen der medizinischen Grundlagenforschung und klinischen Forschung gute Erfahrungen gesammelt, darunter Knochenmarktransplantation, Kardiologie, zelluläre Polarität in Nierenepithelzellen, zelluläre Kryokonservierung und Thoraxtransplantation.
