Sherlock Indwelled A Sherlock Holmes Novel Book Two in the Psalms of Sherlock Series For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. Ephesians 6:12 Sherlock Holmes, the world's only consulting detective, struggles to compromise his strict policy of self-reliance. He loses the security of his detachment when he becomes indwelled by the Holy Spirit. He really doesn't want to be indwelled by a sacred meddler, an involver. How can he possibly carry on his work if he has to discuss everything first? While his adventures challenge him with new relationships, Sherlock matures in his Christian faith and becomes aware of the spiritual warfare he must deal with. Sherlock is warned that he's in grave spiritual danger and receives the gift of the del Gesú (of Jesus) violin as his guide. The Holy Spirit uses the instrument to share God's infinite wisdom in a language Sherlock understands, music. Sherlock enters a whole new realm of warfare when Professor Moriarty's wrath against him is poured out on the entire world. Will Sherlock be successful in stopping his evil plan or make an unthinkable sacrifice to keep hope alive? The Game is on!
He has put a new song in my mouth-- Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3
Gail Ann's infatuation with Sherlock Holmes began almost sixty years ago with her parents' birthday gift of The Complete Sherlock Holmes. Joining the Navy to see the world, her military career awakened a love of travel with journeys to London and Scotland. There she savoured the atmosphere of Sherlock's adventures.
When she retired, Commander Swales dedicated her life to church, family and her writing. She raised her daughter as a single mom and is now blessed with two lovely grandchildren.
God's Word and particularly the Psalms are dear to her. She delights in sharing their message of love as a flautist in her church orchestra and as a member of the senior choir, Silvertones.
May the LORD bless you as you sing His song with your life, for the Game is on!
