The author writes under a pseudonym, Ralph Tarso. He is an ordained minister and professional physicist, and has alternated between these roles throughout his life. He has been a researcher, radiation inspector and safety officer, and radiological emergency planner, while serving as an associate pastor of a small church. He served briefly as a missionary in Central Asia, treasurer of a large church, business manager, and later international program director for a seminary.
