Now, nearly 10 years later, popular blogger Tamar Arslanian has teamed up once again with our very own in-house author Andrew Marttila (Cats on Catnip) to offer this fully updated, fresh edition, highlighting 20 new shop cats.
Tamar Arslanian built her career at several high-profile New York City advertising agencies. Her journey into “cat writing” began as a hobby with her blog, I Have Cat: Single in the City with Cat(s). She has been published in the Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, and Kinship, as well as featured as an expert in Good Housekeeping, People, StyleWatch, and New YorkMagazine. Second to her love of cats is her appreciation of great cuisines, which has led to hosting culinary tours and events in NYC as well as creating content for her brand, Flirting with Vegan. Tamar is a board member of the nonprofit Mission Meow and shares her home in NYC with three rescue cats and a varying number of foster cats. Andrew Marttila is a professional animal photographer best known for his captivating images of felines. He reaches hundreds of thousands of cat lovers through social media where he documents his travels promoting shelters across the country, taking photos for clients, and snuggling his cat, Haroun. Andrew’s photography has been featured in Catster, Vanity Fair , Real Simple, and The Guardian, and on CNN and MSNBC, among others. Andrew is the author/photographer of Cats on Catnip, How to Take Awesome Photos of Cats, and co-author of Cats of the World. He lives in San Diego, CA.
