Autorenporträt
Nikhil Kamkolkar is a writer-filmmaker and Unreal Authorized Instructor (Gold) blending story, cinematography, and real-time tech. An Unreal Engine Animation Fellowship alum, he works across development, previs, and final pixels, and is in pre-production on a sci-fi short that integrates Unreal with emerging AI workflows. He wrote and directed the feature rom-com LOVE LOVE (streaming globally on Amazon Prime, HOOPLA, and more), plus award-winning shorts. His TV pilots (sci-fi, horror, thriller) have placed in Screencraft and Final Draft Big Break. Alongside filmmaking, he's held day-job roles at Microsoft, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Topic. Several of his screenplays are published as books. Based in New Jersey and working internationally, he focuses on filmmaker practice, creative resilience, and real-time/AI tooling. More at KAM9.TV.
