Chris McDonald is a U.S. Navy veteran, author, poet, and art director whose work blends dark fantasy, emotional realism, and mythic depth. His full name is Christopher McDonald, and he has written under both names across a range of genres--from immersive fantasy to poignant autobiographical works. Between 2018 and 2024, Chris co-authored several books with Clifford L. Crenshaw, contributing a unique voice rooted in lived experience, creative vision, and a deep commitment to truth. Through each story, he invites readers to confront suffering with courage, to find meaning in chaos, and to pursue beauty with relentless conviction. A twenty-year Navy veteran, Clifford has traveled throughout the world, being enriched with invigorating experiences whilst performing his given duties. After leaving the Navy, he labored at many occupations: cook, barista, tutor, landscaper, janitor, utility man, and handyman, before becoming bolstered with resolute purpose and finding his true destiny as a co-author and voice actor.
