Pollard, Clare Clare Pollard is curator of Japanese art at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford (UK). Her main area of research is the decorative arts of the Meiji era, in particular the work of the potter Miyagawa Kozan. Other interests include Edo-period export ceramics, arts of the Taisho era and tea utensils, both historic and contemporary.
von Achenbach, Nora Nora von Achenbach works as an academic associate and curator for various exhibition projects on Chinese and Japanese art, including a number on Chinese and Japanese ceramics. Since 2000 she has headed the East Asian and Islamic Department at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (DE).
