Antonio Malpica nació en la Ciudad de México en 1967. Autor de novelas infantiles y juveniles, ha sido galardonado con diversos premios, como el de Novela Breve Rosario Castellanos, el Premio Nacional Manuel Herrera de Dramaturgia, el premio Nacional de Obra de Teatro para Niños y el Premio Nacional de Novela Una Vuelta de Tuerca. En 2015 se convirtió en el primer escritor mexicano en obtener el Premio Iberoamericano SM de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil. Ha publicado más de cincuenta libros, incluyendo las novelas #MásGordoElAmor e Imagina que no hay cielo, así como los cinco volúmenes de la saga El Libro de los Héroes, que comienza con Siete esqueletos decapitados. Antonio Malpica was born in Mexico City in 1967. Author of novels for children and young adults, he has won several awards, such as the Rosario Castellanos Short Novel Award, the Manuel Herrera National Playwriting Award, the National Children's Play Award and the National Novel Award Una Vuelta de Tuerca. In 2015 he became the first Mexican writer to win the Ibero-American SM Award for Children's and Young Adult Literature. He has published more than fifty books, including the novels #MásGordoElAmor and Imagina que no hay cielo, as well as the five volumes of the saga El Libro de los Héroes, which begins with Siete esqueletos decapitados.
