Communicate or perish! Freedom of thought and expression is the absolute number one priority in Australia today. It outranks everything else, ranging from climate change, Third World issues, abortion, euthanasia, crime, slavery; you name it. Unfortunately, today, the cancel culture movement is suppressing freedom of speech and religious belief through the guise of a new and better morality. This relatively new type of intolerance fosters a culture of silence, fragility and isolation. It fosters emotional fragility and discourages all innovative thinking that lies outside of the prevailing political correctness. Starting with the 18th century Enlightenment period, 'Silent, Fragile and Isolated' traces the historical roots of this sociological phenomenon to the present day. This book sounds the alarm and makes the case for urgent reforms among the spheres of influence that map out our collective mindset: media, education, government, judiciary and business. Written in an easy English language style, this book is essential reading for all informed and thinking Australians; for all who care about the future of their children and grandchildren in this great country of ours.
